10 Jun - Lincoln City
Today was cold and overcast. At Glenda's prodding, the boys and I hiked 1.5 miles north along the Lincoln City coast, the 40mph wind at our backs. When we reached the end of the beach, it started raining. We plodded back through that miserable, wet, relentless head-wind. Nobody else was dumb enough today to do what we did. It was hard to move and talk by the time we got to the house. We jumped into the hot tub in the rain, and felt a lot better an hour later.
