Medium Copper Chimes

Made from Schedule 40 Type M 1" copper pipe, these chimes are ~3-1/2' in length. Pipes are internally suspended (hang point is 22.42% from end) from a machined, acrylic-coated ABS plate via 300 lb. dacron cord with copper crimps and stainless steel rings. A PVC striker hits the center of each pipe. The wind catcher is light-weight acrylic-coated aluminum that swings freely. These chimes sound good, but they would resonate better if the pipes were longer. Voodoo guy's head is made from InstaMorph; his body is made from sticks and Spanish moss.
